Panjwayi District, Kandahar – As winter’s harsh grip tightened around Afghanistan, HOPA (Humanitarian Organization for the People of Afghanistan) launched a vital Shelter-Winterization Project to support vulnerable families in Panjwayi District. With generous funding from the Mrasta Charity Foundation, this initiative provided 770 households (HHs) with essential winter supplies, ensuring warmth and protection during the cold season.
HOPA successfully distributed coats, winter boots, blankets, and tents to families in need. The project aimed to shield those most at risk, including children, the elderly, and displaced individuals, from extreme winter conditions.

This initiative highlights HOPA’s unwavering commitment to humanitarian assistance and its dedication to serving marginalized communities in Afghanistan. By addressing immediate shelter and winterization needs, HOPA continues to stand with the people of Panjwayi, offering hope and warmth in challenging times.
