Daman contingency food distribution

HOPA implemented a contingency food distribution for affected households in Daman District under Project AF01-2698. The event represented a larger caseload response than the earlier small urban contingency actions and was completed with full delivery to all planned households. A total of 271 households were planned and all 271 households were served, with zero absentees and no alternate collectors recorded. Unlike some other contingency events, this distribution was implemented as a general food response only, with no LNS or WSB recorded in the event file. 

The Daman contingency food distribution was completed successfully and reached all 271 planned households, including 20 female-headed households, with zero absentees and 67.203 MT of food distributed. The event was notable for combining full household completion with a larger contingency caseload and clear commodity accountability. Based on the available evidence, the activity is assessed as Highly Satisfactory, with the main improvement areas being stronger qualitative documentation and better source-file consistency.
